This new instrument will allow us to learn more about the specific leisure activities individuals participate in and their patterns of participation, such as how often, how long, where, and with whom they engage in these activities. Because leisure participation has many health benefits, understanding how older adults and people aging with physical disabilities spend their leisure time can help inform future health promotion interventions.
